Ongoing citizenship support services for students and their families

The CMLC offers ongoing community support for the US Citizenship application process: determining citizenship eligibility, understanding the application process, tutoring for the civics test, language support, no-interest loans for the civics test, and legal referrals for complex cases.

Volunteering at the Parks and Recreation Children's Halloween Party

Volunteering at the Parks and Recreation Children's Halloween party. Help run games, activities, and maintain safe COVID protocols. Volunteers will help from 3:30 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 29th. Shorter shifts are available if you can't help out the whole time!

Children's Halloween Party

The event is on Friday, October 29th from 5-7 pm and is completely free! It is located at the Corvallis Public Library parking garage with the entrance at the rear parking lot of the library. It is for younger children and will feature fun activities, prizes, and candy!

Tween Book Club Kit

The Tween Book Club is an at-home kit for tweens in grades 4-6, featuring a home delivery (or library pick-up) of the book club selection, craft supplies and directions, and discussion prompts. Registration opens at 10am on 10/6

Vaccination Clinics for ages 12+, Testing Available for ALL ages

For children 12 years and older, families, and staff. All are welcome! 1st and 2nd doses of Pfizer and Moderna, 3rd booster for eligible individuals, and single dose of Johnson & Johnson. No appointment required. Drop-ins are welcome. Parent/guardian consent required for children 12-14 years old.

CMLC Fall Term Classes

The Corvallis Multicultural Literacy Center (CMLC) will be offering English classes, meditation classes (in English and Spanish), and an English conversation circle beginning the week of October 3rd. We also offer an ongoing conversation partner program and support with citizenship applications.

hMiddle-School Fall Ultimate Frisbee

Fall Middle School Ultimate Frisbee

Free drop-in ultimate frisbee for kids in 6th-8th grade each Sunday from 4-6pm at Crystal Lake Sports Fields. Each week we'll practice some throws and run a few drills followed by a pickup game.
