The second meeting of the Budget Committee was held on May 15 in the School District Board Room. The agenda included time for follow up questions an new information from the budget officer, Business Director Olivia Meyers Buch. A short presentation of the PERS funding requirement was provided to the committee. A copy of the proposed budget is available here.
Committee chair Jim McCullough opened the meeting to committee member questions and discussion related to proposed funding levels and anticipated revenues. The meeting ended with a vote of approval of the 2017-18 budget. The budget will now be presented to the school board for a final vote at their June 19 business meeting.
A third budget committee meeting tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, May 30, will be canceled.
