At their June 15, 2023 meeting, the Corvallis School Board elected officers for the 2023-24 school year. Luhui Whitebear was elected as chair, and Shauna Tominey and Terese Jones were elected as co-vice chairs.
The final agenda item of the evening was the swearing-in of two returning board members and two new board members. Terese Jones and Sarah Finger McDonald were each re-elected. Chris Hawkins and Judah Largent were newly elected; they will officially begin their duties on July 1, 2023.
Board members said their thank yous and farewells to school board members Vince Adams and Tina Baker, whose terms ended this month and had been on the school board for ten and four years, respectively. Board member Tina Baker could not attend this final meeting of the year.
