Superintendent to Appoint Members to Long Range Facility Planning Committee

Thank you to all who applied.

The Long Range Facility Master Plan (LRFMP) Committee will be charged to develop a plan to improve the existing buildings and provide students with better opportunities. The committee begins meeting in February and will complete their work in the fall of 2017. Committee members will be appointed based on the applications received. The deadline to submit an application was January 8, 2017.

The planning process will include an assessment and analysis of all school facilities, projected demographics and enrollment, facility replacement vs renovation guidelines and financing tools for capital improvements. The committee will be transparent and create opportunities for the community members to guide this important process while also balancing the needs of current and future students with its responsibilities to taxpayers.

More details about the committee are available here.

Questions may be directed to Kim Patten, Facilities and Transportation Director, 541-757-5877.
