Corvallis public schools will be closed Monday, May 31 in observance of Memorial Day. The CHS free meal site for children up to the age of 18 will also be closed. Classes and free grab-and-go meals at CHS will resume on Tuesday, June 1. The school district’s administrative offices will also be closed. The central office will reopen for business on Tuesday according to its regular hours, 8 am to 5 pm. All school district buildings remain closed to visitors due to the pandemic.
Other dates of note
- Graduation ceremony for students attending College Hill, the district’s alternative pathway program is June 3
- Graduation ceremonies for Corvallis High School and Crescent Valley High School are June 5
- Last day of the school year is June 18. All schools will follow a two-hour early release schedule
This year’s graduation ceremonies are scheduled to take place outdoors to allow for physical distancing. Details about graduations are available here.
The final meeting of the year for the Corvallis School Board will take place on June 10 at 6:30 pm, the meeting will be held virtually and will be live-streamed on the district’s YouTube channel. Agenda items will include adoption of the approved 2021-22 budget.
