Kindergarten Enrollment and Information Night Coming in March (2017)

Children who will be 5 years old as of September 1, 2017 are eligible to enroll in kindergarten at the school in their boundary area.  In order to complete the registration process, parents will need to provide the following:

• Proof of the child’s birth date
• A copy of the child’s immunization record
• Name and phone number of the child’s physician
• Three emergency contacts for the child
• Address verification

Each of the district’s elementary schools will hold a Kindergarten Information Night on Wednesday, March 8 from 5:30-6:30 pm; Franklin will be held the same night but will be from 6:30-7:30 pm. During the open houses, principals and kindergarten teachers will discuss ways to prepare children for kindergarten, as well as answer questions.
