New Administrator Announced for Husky Elementary

Superintendent Ryan Noss has announced that Tracey Fischer has been hired as the new principal at Husky Elementary School effective July 1, 2021. The position is currently held by Anna Marie Gosser who will be resigning at the end of the school year for time with family.

Tracey is currently a Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) as an elementary mentor in the Corvallis School District and has worked in the District for 14 years. She started her educational career as an elementary teacher at Adams Elementary in 2007, followed by serving as an Administrative Intern and then Interim Principal at Mountain View Elementary School from 2019 through June 2020. She holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Education Degree from Oregon State University. She also has earned an Elementary Math Instructional Leadership Specialization certificate from Western Oregon University and an Initial Administrative License from Portland State University.

Husky Elementary is where Tracey began her teaching career—as a student-teacher—15 years ago. “Tracey is committed to the values of community and inclusion,” shared Superintendent Noss. “She is an instructional leader with strong communication skills and is an advocate for all students and families. She will be a strong addition to the district’s leadership team.”
