This past weekend, several Corvallis School District students from the CSD Theatre cast of Newsies were part of a special celebration. On Sunday, December 17, Corvallis High School students Elliette Barlow and Adam Franks and Crescent Valley students Jonah Smith, Kaiden Blickenstaff, and Bastian Sorensen joined the Oregon Make-A-Wish Foundation to celebrate Josh, a local honoree.
Josh and his family have been granted a trip to Florida in January, where they will visit Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resorts and participate in a VIP tour of Diagon Alley. Our students enhanced the celebration by performing several Disney songs from The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, and songs from the upcoming Newsies production.
I’m completely overwhelmed,” said Michelle, Josh’s Mom. “Josh has been involved with Drama and loves Disney, so I know how special this was for him.”
