FlashAlert is a messaging system that the Corvallis School District uses to send timely alerts to local news media and community subscribers for inclement weather closures and other emergencies. We will be conducting a test of the alert system on Wednesday, October 16, at 10:00 am.
- To register, visit www.flashalert.net and click on the Willamette Valley region on the map, then click “Benton Co. Schools,” then “Corvallis Scho. Dist.”
- It is recommended that you download the free FlashAlert app if you have a smartphone, which will ensure you receive the full text of emergency notifications, as some cellular providers limit characters or may delay delivery of alerts due to service area limitations.
Staff and parents/guardians of currently enrolled students will receive a notification through SchoolMessenger, the district’s auto-dial notification system.
