School Board Proclamation of Indigenous Peoples’ Day

Indigenous Peoples' Day

The Corvallis School Board passed a resolution declaring Monday, October 12 as Indigenous Peoples’ Day, recognizing the significant contributions to our society and our District by Native Americans. With this resolution, we celebrate and commemorate their histories and their cultures and recognize the Native community that thrives in our community and throughout the state of Oregon.

Please join us in recognizing these cultures and celebrating our families and students who proudly carry them forward. The School Board’s Indigenous Peoples’ Day Resolution is linked below.
