Parenting Tools to Increase Social Skills and Cooperative Behaviors in Young Children - A 10 session class beginning April 15

Are you worried that your child is disruptive or disobedient at home or at school? Or, would you simply like some support in promoting self-confidence and cooperation in your child? Designed for parents of children ages 2 – 10, The Incredible Years is a research-based, proven curriculum for learning specific parenting tools and skills.

Join with others in a class facilitated by a skilled parent educator and learn how to use praise and rewards to increase the behaviors you would like to see more of in your child. Become skilled in techniques for reducing inappropriate behaviors.

Class will meet for 10 weeks, Tuesday’s from 6:30 – 8:30 pm, beginning Tuesday, April 15. Instructor: Esther Schiedel, Certified Family Life Educator. Class will meet at Linus Pauling Middle School, 1111 NW Cleveland Ave., Room 102, East Hallway, First Floor. $63 tuition, partial tuition assistance may be available. Call 917-4949 for more information and to register. Provided in partnership with the Linn-Benton Community College Parenting Education Department.
