Bond Update: Letitia Carson Neighborhood Meeting #3

Corvallis School District 2018 bond logo

Last summer the Corvallis School District held two neighborhood meetings to review neighborhood-initiated changes to the city approved plans for Letitia Carson Elementary (formerly named Wilson Elementary.) The changes included relocation of the detention pond, retention of the sidewalk and landscaping along Satinwood Street and Walnut Boulevard, and preservation of the existing number of parking spaces.

The District is seeking input on the proposed revisions before the submitting a revised land use application to the City of Corvallis in late February. The most recent site plan improvements that reflect these changes can be found HERE. This land use application will be subject to review and approval by the Corvallis Planning Commission.

The neighborhood meeting will be held online (due to COVID-19) at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. Property owners and neighborhood associations near this project were notified and provided with details about logging in to the meeting. If you are interested in attending, please contact the Facilities and Transportation office at 541-757-5877 before 5 pm on February 15.

Information and updates are available on the district website bond page at the following link: https://www.csd509j.net/bond-program/wilson-elementary/
