Welcome to CSD Performing Arts

The performing arts invite students to listen closely, take creative risks, solve problems together, and contribute their own ideas to something larger than themselves. Our districtwide programs support young musicians, performers, designers, technicians, and storytellers at every stage of their learning.

Whether you are looking for an upcoming performance, purchasing tickets, exploring a program, or planning an event in one of our venues, you’ve come to the right place.

Four Program Areas, One Creative Community

Band

Choir, Guitar, Songwriting & Mariachi

Our students develop their voices and musicianship through singing, guitar, songwriting, a cappella, and Mariachi experiences across the district. The program builds toward award-winning high school ensembles, including four OSAA State Choir Championships, while our growing Mariachi program creates meaningful cultural connection and continuity for bilingual students from elementary through high school.

Orchestra

Our orchestra program supports young string musicians as they progress from foundational instruction to advanced ensemble performance. At the high school level, students from Corvallis and Crescent Valley come together in the celebrated Camerata Orchestra, a five-time OSAA State Champion and seven-time winner of the Mt. Hood Symphony Festival.

Theater

Our theater program connects students across grade levels through classroom learning, school productions, technical theater, the districtwide annual musical, and STAGES summer programming. Our alumni have continued into leading university theater programs and professional careers on Broadway, with touring companies, in regional theaters and festivals, and in television and film. From a child’s first experience onstage to advanced opportunities in performance, writing, directing, design, and production, we create room for students to discover where they belong in theater.
