Menstrual Dignity Act

The Menstrual Dignity Act requires school districts to provide free menstrual products for all K-12 students in all public schools in Oregon.

Providing free products helps students participate actively in classes and school activities by providing:

  • Safe, private spaces where students can access products
  • Instructions for how to use them
  • Trash receptacles for private disposal
  • Contact information for a school staff member to answer questions

Where are the menstrual products provided?

Menstrual products are provided in dispensers in all student restrooms and each health room at all schools.
